This book bordered on boring IMO, which was hugely disappointing I absolutely loved the first three novels in this series, but this one just fell flat for me Ciara and Eirik totally lacked whatever spark that Emily Lachlan and Talorc Abigail and Niall Gaire had, which was a bummer because there was so much potential And the whole subplot involving Mairi and Lais just bored me to tears I ll still read the next installment, but I won t be pre ordering it like this one I ll wait patiently for This book bordered on boring IMO, which was hugely disappointing I absolutely loved the first three novels in this series, but this one just fell flat for me Ciara and Eirik totally lacked whatever spark that Emily Lachlan and Talorc Abigail and Niall Gaire had, which was a bummer because there was so much potential And the whole subplot involving Mairi and Lais just bored me to tears I ll still read the next installment, but I won t be pre ordering it like this one I ll wait patiently for it to come available for trade on PBS Honestly, I m hoping this one was just a fluke and that the next one will be better
