Though the book is obviously about the adverse effects on the planet from this administration's policies the repercussions really don't hit you until we hear about the residents from a small Pennsylvania county whose healthy has been ravished by the emissions from a nearby coal plant that should have had to upgrade its euipment to be carbon efficient It's like the California town from Erin Brokovich From there this raw emotion uickly turns to anger at how this presidency has done its best to trash our environment While this book does a good job at addressing several issues often it's too narrative and doesn't give enough of the facts dates and figures that would help the reader fully understand Bush's terrible actions Every time I read the list of issues is so long I won't go into it here I kept thinking Please go into it that's why I checked out this book Then again maybe it's better to just forget about Bush and move on Interesting note this book was written in 2004 We could probably make a second volume just for the second term

Out of all the things he's criticized about these policies were probably the most deserving The tragic thing is they didn't try to do it on purpose but just like the public and myself they don't understand sustainability
