I received this book for free as part of Goodreads First Reads giveawaysThis review may contain spoilersI did actually like this book it was an easy read with fairly likable characters but because of the format I struggled a bit with reading it There weren't indents in the paragraphs so I couldn't always tell who was talking thenI haven't read the other two books in this trilogy but I found this book easy to follow and the characters were fairly interesting though I was a bit confused about how they were all related I liked the supernatural aspects to the book but I wasn't very clear on exactly what each character could do or where their abilities came fromI really liked the relationships between all of the characters though I don't think enough detail was given to the settings Also although the main characters were well defined there didn't seem to be that many minor characters in the hospital I didn't see anything about many of the other patientsThe ghosts aspect was good but I got a bit confused with the first one Maggie saw The writing didn't make it clear about who the ghost was whether it was even male or female I assumed it was one person but given what happened later it seemed to be someone else I did also notice uite a few errors in the book The word 'done' was used even in narrative which didn't look right to meThere were a few emotional scenes that really tugged on my heartstrings as well as a few moments where I found myself smiling along with the characters I was very uickly emotionally invested in the bookI would be interested in reading other books in this series at a later date though I think the book could be improved in places I'm afraid that's why I can't give an extra star

This is the 3rd book in the series and cost me nearly three bucks for the kindle version Honestly it was well worth it Book #1 Between the Rage and Grace was I liked it okay Book # 2 I really liked but book # 3 I find myself hoping for a # 4 This series is lit fiction dosed with paranormal friendship a little mystery murder and family drama The sex scenes aren't too shabby either I gave it 5 stars because it left me wanting

  3. Rita Fay Taggart Rita Fay Taggart says:

Shut my mouth I read the first two books and liked them alot I think this one is very very good but I have a bone to pick with the last chapters How can this woman have something so heartbreaking happen and then the folks just kind of wipe their eyes and blow there nose and head home while I'm still bawling about it

  4. Linda Klages Linda Klages says:

This was a Goodreads win I didn't like it at all Time went by uickly in the next sentence not even the next paragraph or next chapter I did not read the first book Not interested in buying it or the 3rd book Nothing seemed connected

  5. Janna Hill Janna Hill says:

This third book in the series allows the characters to heal and mature to grow and move forward and seals books 1 2 AND 3 AS a declared trilogy One piece of the story still to be told will stand on it's own in the near future
