I had made a note of authors I wanted to read and Lorrie Moore was among them I can't remember exactly what led me to the selection of authors but I think but I'm not uite sure that I was searching for authors similar to Dorothy Parker Anyway So while reading this I kept thinking to myself Is he hallucinating? It feels like he's hallucinating I say this because as someone who has dealt with hallucinations and delusions I really got that vibe from reading this story I don't know if that's the case here but if so then it was really well done because the confusion on the part of Harry reminded me so much of myselfI have another short story by this author that I'll be reading but I'll definitely keep my eye out for her work
