This is a great start to a promising event and after the fiasco not really though of that was Age of Ultron it is great to have this epic space opera as Marvel's final major salvo for the yearIf you're planning to stick to the main miniseries I suggest you get the Avengers books that Jonathan Hickman also writes Based on a handy chart made by Hickman those actually are part of the main story too This is actually a 16 part epicI have to admire Marvel's marketing push for this issue it was everywhere I even got a digital copy of the it from the Facebook game I always play Marvel Avengers Alliance which also had a side uest related to this storyI really like the digital version of this comic It also comes with the Infinite comic so that's why this pushed to 142 pages

I really like where this story is going reading this in recommended reading order with Avengers and New Avengers but the characters seemed a bit lifeless in this volume There's an entire slew of characters in this event which is awesome but I'm hoping they will have a bit substance as it continues

This is a Free Comic Book Day release with comiXology and Kindle I wasn’t expecting much from this even with Marvel’s Infinity War having just released the trailer knowing that this was just a FCBD release hoping to get people into the actual comic line as a marketing strategy However the cover does look absolutely amazing I love the way Thanos is peering through with the shattered images of numerous heroes surrounding him on what I can only presume is the Infinity Gauntlet This is merely the opening pages of the comic line a what happens before issue #1 and with a sneak peek to Endless War OGN I just know only 47% of this is going to be InfinityI honestly didn’t really expect to like this I saw a free Marvel comic and got excited and immediately hit buy nowThe first thing I notice is that the art work is absolutely spectacular I love this It’s dark it’s almost grungey and it’s obvious that the illustrators Jim Cheung and Mike McKone worked hard for this despite it just being a little free download The story line in this was really well done and really encapturing but it was just too short as usual I would love to read in this but there’s the downside of most of the comics released with comiXology have ads than they do comic and I’m a little apprehensive to have a look further into thisHowever this is a really good read and I definitely recommend it

  4. Jim Green Jim Green says:

Decent book always love Thanos Cant beat it for value despite not really having a storyline Its basically an ad for the actual seriesIts a good book by good writers but basically just an ad to hook you into the real series Can't beat the price though especially if you're just looking getting interested in comics

  5. Michael Michael says:

  6. Ria Ria says:

Doing my homework before Infinity War But this was hard to jump into as it seems there's a lot of history building up to this event Still good to get a refresher on the gems and to meet the Black Order I'll try a few issues to see how I get on

  7. Latha Latha says:

  9. Otakore Literantadodist Otakore Literantadodist says:

Ridiculous the Outrider can do it to Wolverine? Wolverine can't smell them? And to SHEILD facility? This is a flaw in this issue and will be a flaw throughout
