Joyful inspiring and full of hope A Treasury of Christmas Miracles is a compilation of about fourteen true stories where people were blessed with a miracle many connected to Christmastime “Unfortunately we live with a sense of urgency for all the wrong reasons Perhaps our time would be better spent looking for the miracles that so clearly exist around us Especially during the Christmas season”The stories are said to be true but they’ve been fictionalized to protect the privacy of the people they belong to Each one shows how God is ever present in our lives Some of the stories involve healing lost items and lives saved It’s hard to pick a favorite but I did enjoy the stories on healing the most One story about a 37 year old man with appendicitis was very compellingWhen reading this book I guess you just have to ask yourself are you a person who believes in miracles? I for one am It’s my belief that there are miracles happening around us all the time even when we don’t see them I’ve had unexplainable things happen to me in my own life–things that in no way could just be luck or coincidence We all have our own beliefs but whether or not you’re a believer in God anyone can enjoy this book; although there is mention of God throughout and the people in the stories are also believers Readers may uestion the spiritual credibility of the stories as some are compelling than othersOverall this was an enjoyable read My only complaint is that it wasn’t as Christmassy as I expected The book is relatively short at about 170 pages and a uick read If you like inspirational stories about miracles give this book a try4You can also see this review wwwreadrantrockandrollcom

This is such a great book to read any time of the year especially at ChristmasThe true stories in “A Treasury of Christmas Miracles are wonderfully told and bring awareness to some of the amazing recent miracles God has performed This book really touched my heart and soul and brought tears to my eyes several times It shows that God is always looking out for us keeping us safe from so many things many of which we may never know This is definitely a book I'll want to revisit time and time again

Personal responseI could not imagine the situation this couple was in with being several states apart for their first Christmas together as a married coupleThe couple had no idea that there was a surprise coming their way but there was I thought it meant a lot that a stranger took his plane and went many miles for someone in his town without even asking for money to pay for gas I think this showed that there was still others in the world that care about each other I liked how generous this stranger was I thought is was amazing that when they were caught in a deadly fog that some they thought was air control helped them out Later they found out it wasn't and no one knew who it was This is pretty amazing thing to graspPlotFirst this couple got married Then right before their first Christmas she received a call that her mom who wa several states away was dying of cancer The couple scraped together enough money to get her a one way ticket to see her mom He had desperately asked the church to pray for him so he could have gone to see his wife Later someone called and told him that he could take him with his plane When they left it was a sunny beautiful day When they were about halfway there they hit fog so thick they couldn't see The euipment in the plane went out Somehow they managed to land They finally got back up in the air but when they got near the airport they hit another patch of fog This time the airport said they couldn’t help them Suddenly someone came on the radio and guided them down but no one knew who it wasRecommendation I would recommend this to people who are interested in their faith because this could make them realize that God does care I would recommend this to middle school and above because this topic is a hard topic to grasp for young immature minds I would recommend this to both genders because it has no gender based content
