Better than the lastPulls myself out of a puddle of tears Okay so I'm going to try and give a review even in my current emotional state and without giving too much awayWhat a roller coaster ride of emotions this book put me through Just as in the last book when things seem okay Kellee throws something at us and things go downhill all over again I finished this book within 24hrs telling myself just one chapter and then starting the next The whole book was intense and suspenseful I had no idea what was going on from page one and the author makes it very clear that there is going on than meets the eyeI would give it stars if I could and a longer better review but for the moment I'm just so heartbroken I'm not sure I can thinks about the ending and starts cryingAmazing novel just like the last There was one f word and one make out scene which was better than the last The gore was about the same Would recommend for 14 As with the last book I will be diving right into the next with eagerness

I ended up enjoying this book than I had enjoyed the first It may have been partially due to the fact that I now knew the characters a little and had a better grasp in what was going on I E There was an actual definable enemyseeming cause of all the issues rather than a vague nothingness But overall I entered this book knowing the characters and their plight only as much as I would hope to have known them a third of the way through the first bookThe premise was again intriguing and I found that the author seemed to have managed to find the same voice throughout which was a solid improvement from the first book And overall the pace felt natural in this one almost like the timeline made senseI still found there were many times where the story seemed to jump or skip some key information I also unfortunately found the writing still to be lacking in descriptiveness although it was very much improved from the first book in many ways I still found myself confused as to where the story was headed sometimes as there was still not until a good ways through a clear antagonistI continued reading because I had faith that the story would grow Please read reviews of the 3rd book as wellIn the end I think the story has a lot of potential and a strong premise It just lacked some strength in the areas mentioned above

  5. Sabrena Phillips Sabrena Phillips says:

No heroin this heroineI was very disappointed in your whiny cowardly female lead character She has no redeeming ualities as even her loyalty is uestionablesince she doesn't seem to be able to understand her situation and doesn't take into account who might be hurt by her actions Couldn't you have given her at least some redeeming ualities?

  6. Sandra L. Sandra L. says:

Good readDespite multiple grammatical errors the story line kept me interested and I wasn't able to put it down The chapters are short and it reads uickly I finished the whole book in less than a day I kind of wish it had lasted longer but I'd been so ready to read it I kind of devoured it I'm left craving the next book
