This is a very popular book in our house TJ enjoys showing it to AJ and trying to get her to follow the trails I'm rounding down because the flaps are such a temptation for little hands and so easy to tear out; I think the book would be better if it just focused on the varying textures

  2. Shelly Kittell Shelly Kittell says:

    Fun book for baby Durable

  3. Elizabeth Elizabeth says:

#ReadToNiblingThis book has almost no words so in reading it to M I was basically pointing out and naming thingsM 26mo was into opening the flaps but didn't seem that into following the little finger trails though I took to running my finger along them and narrating that I was doing so when reading the book aloud There are various different textures scattered across each page spread so it could be uite fun for a tactile child reader I'm also not sure if M just didn't realize the tactility of these pages because M would stroke the relevant parts of other books like the Christmas board book which has a single item per page brown sack white snowman etc and whose title I apparently neglected to write down I think another victim of my having thought I'd already added it during the Christmas visitThe illustrations are bright and fun and M selected this book multiple times

  4. Pennie Pennie says:

This is a beautiful book with lots of bright and sparkly pictures on each page My daughter is too young to properly trace the 'paths' of the insects flying around on the page but she enjoyed the tactile nature of the book with little cutouts on every page for her to feel
