  1. Johnny Johnny says:

A solid British crime novel It's biggest strength is the uniue nature of each character Flawed and human none of the characters are boilerplate except one glaring except which drove me bananas The story is simple allowing the relationships of the character to grow and change Very confidently written

  2. Claire Claire says:

I liked this book I went to college in Hull and nearly all of this book takes place in areas of Hull where I lived or spent alot of time This added something to the story for me I guess but I think the author got the essence of this city and it's neighbourhoods spot on

  3. Jim Jim says:

Not bad but it was no girl with the dragon tattoo
