35 starsI'm glad that Elliot is finally doing something and that she and the doc are finally managing to form some sort of communication Wished there was plot to this yet again but the art is really amazing and I love the way speech bubbles are modified depending on the situation The ending yay for Elliot

  2. Matt Matt says:

Beginning on Elly Torres’ second day on her new job after her long first day in Volume Two she doesn’t know what to expect next or in fact what she’s actually supposed to do Linda Sejic’s Blood Stain Volume Three completes the first book of Sejic’s webcomic as Elly Vlad and Serge have to decide if they can get along with one another or notWaking up late in the morning Elly nervously hopes that Vlad has not been waiting on her only the reader to find out that Vlad himself has overslept As Vlad desperately attempts to get ready for the class he’s teaching his demeanor and instructions to Elly just confuse her So interpreting her duties as best she can Elly thoroughly cleans his lab while Vlad embarrassingly falls asleep in the middle of his class Upon returning an upset Vlad can’t believe the pristine condition and angrily tells Elly she overstepped her duties While Elly wonders about her future especially as her family’s situation isn’t improving Serge argues with Vlad about his behavior over the years and later Vlad realizes how much better the lab is organizedUnlike the first two volumes the description of what occurs in this particular volume is straightforward as some sort of resolution has to be made about Elly’s character In addition the working relationship between Vlad and Serge comes to fore as it impacts Elly and is used by Sejic to give both characters development Given that this chapter ends the first Book or story arc of Blood Stain the final panel is somewhat predicable but only if you’ve read the first two books but it’s a rewarding final panel because of the journey we’ve seen Elly go onAs a longtime fan of Sejic’s webcomic it was a pleasure to have on paper the story I’ve enjoyed online While Blood Stain Volume Three might be an ending but it’s just the beginning of the story that is finished and there is interesting that will be happening with Elly Vlad and Serge to come So if you haven’t read either of the first two volumes then I encourage you to check them out

  3. Lady H Lady H says:

I love this series so much 😭

  4. Mayar El Mahdy Mayar El Mahdy says:

Though it's not supposed to be the end it is I really liked it so far but alas there is no of it to read

  5. Selina Selina says:

Reread this volume to get through my reading slump and it's still so entertaining I love that even though we're at the beginning of the story the main leads have Chemistry hehe get it?

  6. Anniken Haga Anniken Haga says:

Vol 3 in the series ''Blood Stain'' concludes the first book and the first arc of this story So far I've read all the books within this year I started reading this series as I am a fan of the artiswriter's husbands work and thought I would give her work a go While I don't exhactly share her humor I do find the story enjoying In the beginning I thought it a bit slow not much happened but by the time I got to vol 3 and was made avare that this was just the first part of the series and made the way it was on purpus it turned out to not be a problemThe characters are fun and individual and the fact that I think I know what is going to happen because of something from early on in Sunstone makes the series even fun to readNeedless to say I'm looking forward to the next arc

  7. Ron Ron says:

Elly has been in here new job just a couple of days but she is still wondering why she was hired Her boss is eccentric to say the least and the good looking cook is very cryptic When she tries to help by cleaning up the lab she is yelled at railed at and made to feel unwanted But just as she plans on slinking back home in disgrace she gets a short call from her sister and a note from her boss that lets her know she is appreciated A check also helps It will be interesting to see what occurs in the next story arc

  8. Paul Allard Paul Allard says:

A young chemistry graduate goes to work for a “mad” scientist – nothing much happensA young woman struggling to find a job gets hired by a “mad” scientist The plot again takes its time in this third volume as Elliott – our heroine – discovering that she has still not been given a definite role and ends up in confrontation with her boss VladWith humour and fine cartoony illustrations this volume is entertaining and funSome white lettering on black background which is not easy to read in the digital edition

  9. John John says:

Possibly like a 4 45 but the final panel gave it a big boost in my book Nice payoff almost literally LOLSo the stage is set 3 down 6 to go Sometimes I wish I'd gotten into this series much later so I could just plow through everything all at once instead of here and there but it's good either wayBut I sure hope Linda's not drawing from personal experience for thisman so many emotional zig zags in the first 3 LOL

  10. Adam Adam says:

This series keeps getting better By volume three bits were making me laugh aloud and getting me weird looks from my wife The characters continue to become interesting and there is some genuine pathos developed for the supporting cast The plot is starting to feel developed and nuanced too
