    Under our tree sitting on the same blanket as before we laugh some Not because all our conversations are particularly funny but because well because we're us A uick engaging and cute contemporary readWe've met Emily and Collin in the first book of this series Our Demons Best Friends but they were just side characters there Here in this book the story already revolves around them And just like the previous book I had a lot of funEm and Collin both medical residents first met when Em was still in her first year residency in the hospital while Collin that time was her senior What started as friendship soon became than that as they developed feelings to each other while they hang out every day When all of a sudden a dilemma came into Collin's life which involved Sebastian he left everything including Em who felt like being jilted Sometimes you just need books like this light and easy with enough cheese You know the kind of book that will hold your attention and make you feel captivated because of its overall cutenessWhat I loved about Love Me While I'm Gone was how it enable to make me smile most of the time Even though the plotline of the book is a bit common and somewhat predictable still I enjoyed it a lot The overall premise depicted drama but the author made the whole story felt light and easy because of her engaging writing which was sprinkled with sense of humor and a little bit of angst The main characters Emily and Collin are also amazing Emily knows exactly what she wants in her life and in spite of her mom's advice to her to pursue a career in modelling she took the path of medicine because it's simply what she wants to practice Collin also made me like his character for being so charming sprightly and a real gentlemanWhat I also loved about this book and the entire series was how the characters basically live in the same little world and also make little cameos in each other's books Ava and Sebastian main characters from the previous book appeared here in a form of flashback and I loved it It's nice to look back on the sweet things that happened to my favorite characters They were simply adorableAll in all this book was a beautiful companion book in this series If you want some light romance reads where cute characters exist you can read this book as a standalone But I highly suggest you to read Our Demons Best Friends as well because Ava and Sebastian's love story is everythingRating45 Stars I received a copy of this book from the author Diana T Scott in exchange for an honest review

    Short and sweet sometimes too sweet I was starting to get annoyed But hey who am I to deprive two people in love of their unwarranted laughter and general cheesiness Lol There was a point when it became a bit melodramatic but not irritatingly so What I appreciate about these novels that began with Our Demons Best Friends although Love Me While I’m Gone stands on its own are the strong female characters who know their place and who they are especially in a romantic relationship They’re levelheaded positive and they understand that they are enough If a guy doesn’t like them or see their worth it’s completely the guy’s problem Emily is such a fun and caring person and I like her so much for helping Ava and Sebastian become them Thing is the guys in these novels are just as admirable too They’re not annoying whiny or needy like most of the guys in NA novels I finally get to know the real Collin who is sweeter than honey Those letters were kind of overkill but hey it’s fiction Lol Also Ms Diana Scott proves that it’s possible to have a new adult story without those steamy to eventually erotic scenes and I appreciate her so much for it So if you’re looking for an easy comforting and wholesome NA to read I so recommend these books

    A serendipitous love story This is the seuel to our demons best friends but can be read as a standalone It'll be shame though Ava and Sebastian are too cute to miss Now a days I just find it so hard to get completely lost in a romance novel I go in expecting nothing but a decent story but 80% of the time I come out with a mouthful to complain about how the characters were pretentious how the romance was nauseatingly cheesy how their obsession was unhealthy That's because authors hardly do it right This book is RIGHT So good After putting it down I had a silly grin plastered on my face I was so happy because it has everything that I love to read about in a Ya novel Everything that makes me appreciate a wonderful storyWhy this book is amazing1 Friendship is the solid base and it is something that most authors do not focus on but Diana does When our protagonists met they were attracted to each other but their bond was not solely based on physical attraction They became friends It made their relationship feel so real Made me ship them harder you know ;Again 2 Friendship and loyalty I see many people abandoning their best friends for their love interests and this trope seriously makes me burn with rage I wanted to hug Collin for taking a route that was difficult and would seriously make some readers detest him in my case his decision and loyalty made me love him even 3 Hilarious moments sibling unity and a romance that feels genuine This was as funny as it was poignant I just loved Em and Lana's sibling bond how they had  each other's back no matter what It was beautiful It made me tear up and smile like mad at the same time There were so many swoon worthy ship moments I cherished those scenes deeply I loved Em's character development Atta girl finally gave up her mother's dreams in order to chase her own Overall I loved everything about LMWIG it was so darn readable and everything was just lovable and cute and perfect And Collin Heart eyes Heart eyes This author does fictional men very well they are so thoughtful charismatic and other fictional douchebags could learn a thing or two from them The writing is beautiful and oh my MOST favourite part Just like ODBF Damn the prologue of LMWIG came with a dash of melancholy and Bam I was hooked That's how you do it Diana hook 'em up the prologue itself If you haven't read this series up you should I highly recommend it it's way too adorable ;

    While reading “Love me while I’m gone” you could pick and emotion out of the dictionary and I’m sure I had felt it What a rollercoaster of emotions Emily and Collin are such great characters Their relationship was so addicting The second book is all about Emily and Collin’s story who were Ava’s friends from the first book in the series “My demons best friends their love story is beautiful and very lovely This book shows the hardships of a relationship and the things people to need to do to fix it Not in a boring way though this book was for sure a page turner This book felt very real The dialogue was so relatable and I felt like I could know Emily and Collin as friends When reading this book I got a lot of that “little pain in my chest” no not a chest infection A butterfly feeling If you’re a fan of a good real relatable romance contemporary novel I would highly recommend this one

    An expeditious and a light read Emily knows what she wants and she doesn't let other people tell her what to do What to become She's funny smart and she's wittyCollin on the other hand is also sweet he has enough sense of humor but there's something about him that makes me want to punch him in the face I mean he couldn't have just left He should've explained himself reason why I didn't dare to hate Emily for hating him He just ran away The relationship between Emily and Collin is cute I'm pretty sure I smiled from beginning 'til end of the book But bit parts are frustrating really for I the one thing I want most is to go to them and help them go through the difficulties they're facing Though some parts are a bit of a drama still the characters never failed to make me smile and laugh I swear it was an emotional roller coaster The book has a pretty common plot but that did not stop me from savoring each word of it Yes cliche but very well contended with Diana has this writing style that I don't like No no dislike is not the right term It was okay but it isn't my kind of writing style Still I recommend this book to anyone who's in need of a light but a roller coaster of a read

    Thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this book for an honest review All opinions are my ownAsjafkdgkjfsgsakdjsgIt was so fantastic to be back with these characters again I remembered why I fell in love with them from the first book This seuel although I suppose it is of a companion novel to Our Demons Best Friends focuses on Emily and Collin instead of Ava and Sebastian Don't worry we still get to see the other characters but this book is told in Emily and Collin's perspectivesThe first character we are introduced to is Emily At the beginning of this book I really enjoyed her character She was funny and honest and she dealt with her heartbreak in a way that I could imagine The way the book is set up you get the prologue first where we find out Collin has come back to the hospital after pretty much disappearing a couple years ago without telling Emily what was going on You see both of their reactions to seeing each other for the first time and then the book jumps back three yearsAs the story progressed and we got closer to present day I disliked Emily and In the flashback part of the book she was fun and got along really well with Collin But towards the end after he came back I wasn't really a fan of her I wouldn't really consider this a spoiler but read on with cautionAnyways I was didn't like how Emily reacted to Collin coming back Yes he up and left her three years ago and she should be mad I understand that What I didn't understand was that when he came back he REPEATEDLY asked her to talk so he could explain himself why he was gone If you read the first book you know why but the reason he left is understandable Maybe not at first to Emily but at least she could have waited until she was ready and then asked him Instead she gets her sister to dish and THEN GETS MAD AT COLLIN FOR NOT TELLING HER I don't know maybe I missed something somewhere but I don't think she has any right to get mad at him Multiple times he says he wants to talk about it and when she hears it from someone else who she had to sueeze it out of and totally shuts him out because he didn't tell her WHEN SHE WASN'T READY TO HEAR ITAfter that I pretty much was not a fan of Emily And I don't know if that is a flaw of the book or just Emily's character As painful as she was being it made her real and relatableCollin on the other hand was fantastic He was witty and such a good friend to Sebastian I mean I suppose if he had time to send Emily a text saying he was sorry he could have explained things a little bit Or maybe send one of those letter But I still liked him over EmilyI think even though I didn't 100% LOVE these characters they were still real human and relatable Everybody makes mistakes no matter how big or small and these characters show that you can move on from these mistakesSimilar to the first book I would consider this one a New Adult novel however once again it has so much depth than the average NA book While these issues weren't as devastating as the first book the characters still had their struggles Overall I enjoyed this book I loved the hospital Grey's Anatomy esue stuff once again and think that if you are looking for a NA book with a real lesson you definitely need check this one and Our Demons Best Friends out
