With two new grand babe's on the way I've taken to collecting children's books I loved reading to my children when they were young My mother read to my brother and I and picking out a bedtime story was often the highlight of my day My mother was a fantastic storyteller She always did character voices and was very animated I have never forgotten those memorable stories and it makes my heart all warm and fuzzy to think of my brother and I snuggled up next to Mom as she read The Tale of Two Bad Mice by Beatrix Potter one of my favorites By the way I have the complete boxed set of Beatrix Potter books and I treasure them I want my grandchildren to remember me like that and I want to share the joy of reading and open up a whole new world for them to imagine Coincidentally Kerry Mcuaide happened to contact me about her Midge Moo series not long after I found about the babies I happily agreed to read the first book in the series and I must say it's a delight When it comes to younger children I'd say from baby to five years one needs a uick and colorful story to introduce to the child's small attention span The Midge Moo books are absolutely perfect for this age group The pages are bright and colorful and the short story is told in a sing song rhyming way that will entertain little ones It also introduces friendship and game play in a clever way The illustrations are charming Midge Moo are best friends but Moo is missing Children will delight in turning each page wondering where Moo may be Most kids enjoy peek a boo around the age this book is geared towards and I do believe children will have fun with the hide and seek theme A very cute book for small children This is the fourth book in the Midge Moo series and I can't wait to share each story with my new wee ones Five books complete the series by Mcuaide Special thanks to Kerry Mcuaide for reaching out and sharing her lovely sweet books with me

A uick short peekaboo adventure Moo goes missing invites small children to inspect each picture and guess if Moo is hiding there Nice detail makes this story fun and its brevity ensures small readers will never be alarmed by the absence of a beloved toy The bright illustrations continue the theme of Midge and Moo and make this a nice addition to the series After all even small kids love to have something to collectDisclosure I was given an ecopy and I offer my honest review
