    I thoroughly enjoyed Karin Kaufman's other books so when she came out with this cozy mystery series I knew I was all in I LOVE them Set in the small pop 1200 Colorado town of Juniper Grove they center around mystery writer Rachel and her innate ability to solve crimes She along with her good friends Julia a senior citizen and Holly best baker in town manage to solve every crime that sets foot in Juniper Grove They are sometimes aided by police chief James Gilroy who is also uite attractive Rachel finds herself drawn to Chief Gilroy and he to her albeit slower Juniper Grove is a lovely little town and I've enjoyed mingling with the townspeople and enjoying Holly's baked goods vicariously through Rachel especially her famous cream puffs Karin Kaufman has created a wonderful town populated with great characters I just love this series and could read one book a week If you love cozy mysteries Kaufman is your woman Seriously Don't miss these They're great

    Rating 35The Four Santas is a barbershop Christmas Carol singing group Sparks fly when two of the Santas end up dead under mysterious circumstances Rachel feels sure it was murder and sets out to investigate even though her boyfriend Chief Gilroy would rather she leave it to him Juniper Grove is a delightful town full of close knit folk who appear to know everyone else's business except when it comes to murder With a touch of romance plenty of twists and turns and a difficult to pin down culprit it was an enjoyable read This was a Kindle version and I felt the editing could have been better The first third had a lot of run on sentences which made it a bit hard to read Otherwise I would have given it a 4 FAVORITE UOTE Get used to endingsThat's what life is all aboutI received a complimentary copy to facilitate this review Opinions are mine alone I was not compensated for this review

    This is Book 4 in the Juniper Grove Mystery Series Rachel Stowe is an author and part time sleuth in the small town of Juniper Grove where she has also gotten fairly close to the town sheriff Shortly after asking her to watch over his niece one of the Four Santa's a Juniper Grove caroling group kills over dead It was fun trying to figure out which of the several suspects was the killer The author did a great job of having us suspect all of them

    Christmas mysteryIt's Christmas time in Juniper Grove and Rachel has decided to branch out and make new friends She volunteers to help make wreaths for charity with a group of ladies from town The ladies tell her about the four Santa's who are a group of four older men who go around singing Christmas carols all over town When the Santa's show up at the wreath making party one of them speaks with Rachel asking her to help his niece who is being stalked Before the Santa can tell her he keels over dead from an apparent heart attack Suspecting something fishy Chief Gilroy Rachel's boyfriend takes samples of the cookies and coffee that the ladies had at the party Then the dead Santa's niece disappears without a trace Several of the women at the party and the other Santa's are all acting like they have something to hide so Rachel starts to investigate with her pals Julia and Holly When the coroner's report determines that Santa was poisoned everyone becomes a suspect At the town tree lighting ceremony the next day another one of the Santas also drops dead Who is going around killing Santa's and why? Will Rachel and the gang be able to solve the murder before another Santa dies? Will the town be able to enjoy Christmas? These uestions are answered nicely by the conclusion of this wonderful mystery book I love this series and these wonderful characters

    Rachel Julia and Holly have their hands full with Christmas Eve parties blossoming love and murderA Caroling Santa asks Rachel to find out who is terrorizing his niece Before Rachel can find out the whole story the Santa collapses from what is first thought as a heart attack but later it's learned he was poisonedDeath of a Santa keeps you guessing and it's a book I read in one sitting Rachel Julia and Holly are at their sleuthing best and a blossoming relationship continues to grow I enjoyed the descriptions of Juniper Grove at Christmas time and all the festivitiesAnother winner from Karin Kaufman the ladies of Juniper Grove

    Cookies are bad for youGreat read Christmas is approaching fast and she still has a lot to do but she takes time out to hear the four Santa's group sing What she doesn't expect is to view the dead body of one of the Santa's What killed him and why? A terrific plot that takes poison deaths a car wreck intimidation attempted murder and the proceeds of a charity mixes them up and produces a plot that will keep you engrossed Okay you'll probably spot the killer before the end as I did but it's still a great read The characters and their interactions with each other just gets better and better

    45 stars out of 5I love this series Karin Kaufman is the master at providing great characters a perplexing mystery a perfect setting and plenty of cozy Christmas goodness in under 200 pages I read this in one sitting and while the mystery wasn't as good as some of the previous outings it was still solid and entertaining It's that time of the year for some holiday mysteries and Kaufman doesn't disappoint Can't wait to continue this series after the holidays Check out of my reviews at

    A winner once again One of the better things I love about this author is her ability to keep surprising me I think I figured it out and there is a twist I think I have it again and there's a turn I'm positive that I have it figured out the who what and why and I'm hit with an ess curve Highly recommended for those who enjoy a great cozy mystery Get them from the start so that you can get cozy with the characters
