More new major characters Too bad the new character from Volume 6 has no important role on this book

Battle Angel Alite meets Mad MaxWhat started out as a cyberpunk manga has turned into something completely else I didn't expect the series to take the turns that it has taken which doesn't necessarily mean that it's a good thing The manga is still good though Still readable and enjoyable

Still not liking too much new storyline and characters but artworks are excellent ones loved little Koyomi's development and the final twist was a real good one

Like wtf haha I love I LOVE when so much time passes and you find that glimpse of the past This chapter was completely random and weird although I see what is coming Now I am afraid that I am missing 2 volumes and there are still so many unanswered uestions and mysteries I love the cyborg dog ♡♡♡ I want one Now Alita has evolved one time She is so dynamic the philosophical talk is too much for my taste and sounds cheap but it makes sense for her development

I was binge reading these books when the movie was releasing and finally decided to watch the movie with only 6 books done and it was all fun as the movie only had the story till 3rd book so after the longest of time I continued this 7th book and soon hope to finish the remaining two issues It ran into a new direction with Alita as a Tuned agent with much power and the art is awesome Action is frantic and crazyI have always loved comics and I hope that I will always love them Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels I am on my uest to read as many comics as I can I Love comics to bit may comics never leave my side I loved reading this and love reading you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading

The story is getting weirder and weirder I cannot help wondering if the author back in the 80s when this was written was having trouble figuring out where to go and so Alita takes some strange turns in this book even as we head into the Barjack Saga which has the potential to be the most interesting story arc yet as Alita now working as an agent of Zalem is trying to hunt down the dreaded bandit king Den who has declared war against ZalemFirst of all it's very 80s It's also surprisingly sexist considering Alita has thus far been presented as feminine a teenage girl in the body of an unstoppable killing machine but now every female in the story including Alita at some point turns into an irrational flibbertygidgetFor starters there's an abrupt time skip It's ten years later Just like that we find out Alita has been out in the desert still hunting Barjack and looking for Doc Ido for the past ten yearsWe're introduced to Lou Collins Alita's new operator from Zalem who's a silly little anime ditz who pulls a gun on the director in a fit of paranoia leading to me to wonder why office workers carry around guns in Zalem one of many things that just didn't make sense and then communicates with Alita through a Chibi Alita droneThere are some ridiculous boss battles with Den including a Car Cleaving Sword a katana that Den literally draws from a sheath carried on a construction crane Some pretty dang phallic imagery with Den repeatedly trying to stab Alita with his giant um spear A contrived set of circumstances that leads to the Panzer Bride chapter in which Alita fights Den in a wedding dressAnd finally the climax in which we learn that Den's grand revolutionary plan is indeed to bring down the sky city of Zalem and while Alita's complicated feelings about this are in character and understandable I am still on Team DenThis manga is entertaining and I can watch Alita dismembering cyber ninjas and giant robots all day But the story kind of goes everywhere and the coherency of this cyberpunk dystopian world that was established in the first few volumes is much weaker

This volume continues with Alita's adventures as an agent of Zalem albeit sort of softening the Zalem aspect by assigning a journey citizen to act as her handler operator of sorts for her missions But beyond that the core mission of hunting down Nova doesn't really get all that far and instead it feels like an extended interlude as she deals with Den and the Barjack rebellion or what have you and the odd psychometric Kaos Sure he's actually the child of Nova but that connection doesn't really go all that farStill some great fight scenes and drone supported combat that reminds me a lot of what they've done with the latter Iron Man movies Inspirations abound apparently

I was taken by surprised by the many instances that's happening in this volume I didn't expect that we have pan over 10 years laterI don't know whether I feel for Alita any as the story progresses to a stagnant plot mode Let's see what will the last 2 volume install for us
