    Found this in my local 2nd hand bookshop Authentic straightforward Vietnamese A good read too with some excellent explanations of the food how it's used or sourced Some people may find the ingredients hard to find alternatives aren't really offered Good to know that Mai teaches at the CI of A Ie Anthony Bourdain's alma materRight now I'm trying out the pho stock base

    The recipes are good But the uality of the pages and printing is a little amateur Not inspirational at all Good to go to when you want the clean stripped down flavours of Vietnam
