    Ponderous volume concerning the use of P 39 Airacobras by the USSR This was an aircraft rated as obsolete by both Great Britain and the US after 1942 The Soviets used them through 1945 They were highly regarded than the Laggs and Migs domestically produced The interesting facet of this book is the paucity of resources available to Russian airmen during WW II The translation is awkward at best

    This book is a must read for WWII aerial warfare enthusiasts The author clears up a lot of confusion about a plane that is erroneously classed as second rate Here is the Bell Airacobra from the point of view of pilots who used it to defeat the Luftwaffe over Russia And on top of all that Attack of the Airacobras is just a fun Summer read

    Very informative book but very boring at times Tough to read sometimes because of the translation which probably explains part of why I was bored
