Solid recipe book interestingly organized by primary ingredient There were a number of the “filler” recipes and ingredients that made me cock an eyebrow at whether or not that was representatively Southern However I rarely felt the inclination to bless the author’s heart

I won an autographed copy of this cookbook at a local farmer's market Tammy Algood was very pleasant and approachable Meeting the author in person made reading the stories with each section have even meaning the stories are touching while still being full of great infoHaving been raised on good ole Southern country food I really enjoyed this cookbook really like the way the chapters are laid out according to main ingredient it makes it much easier for me to find the recipes I am looking for It is the first one I grab when I am looking for new recipes to try always the one I reach for after returning from the farmer's market

  4. Emily Briano Emily Briano says:

I loved this one so much that I bought it The layout and design are excellent and the recipes are even better They are reasonably healthy easy and delicious best porkchops I've ever made Highly recommended this one will be a classic of southern cooking
